Need some help to identify this engine
We recently auctioned a Cox .010 in a globe (which ended far lower than we had projected):
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Rare-Collector-Cox-010-Tee-Dee-Model-Airplane-Engine-in-Display-Case-049-/225038724739?_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l10137&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true
and the buyer has a question as to whether there is more info available for this setup. We believe this is some sort of "home-built" but thought we would run this by the forum.

I'd say the description is accurate. It's definitely NOT the Cox original Globe Award, but a nice knock-off homemade display. I can't read what it says on the metal plate, but I'm guessing it's not sales award.
I made one the with a Craft-store globe and a mount printed by Jason. Just haven't made the walnut base for it. It too is a rare one of a kind!
