Yeah, it’s a late model product engine as found in many Cox Ready To Fly airplanes. Nothing special about it, probably out of the PT-19 trainer as that is the most prolific one produced. Don’t expect much for it.

Welcome to the Forum and yes its a .049 Product engine with a fine thread needle valve produced in the 70s , was used in some RTF planes by Cox , the selling price is not going to bee very hi 25-35 maybe ...Bee best to keep it and run or fly probably don't have alot of miles on it .

Yeah it looks to have a “left-hand” snap starter on it. Other than the orientation of the spring, LH cams were usually black in color while the standard RH cake were normally gray. Older non-hex “snap starter” cams were usually red.
These product engines sometimes came with brass driveplates that I believe were designed to reduce wear between the crankcase and driveplate when used in pusher applications. Engines with brass driveplates were included on RTF models as well.
That needle valve could be a normal short needle with its plastic cap missing.
It’s hard to say what you’ll get for a product engine like that. On eBay, one day one will sell for only $8 and the next day you’ll see one sell for $35.

Yes tink is one Not very old tink it use the clip Reed retainer back plate Not like the sur start valve its Cooper valve tink? Not sur
