Its Good To oil the engine som use automatique transmission oil or air tool oil avoid using Somting that wil gum up wit time like castor oil simple two stroke synthétique oil wil do Good dont use remington fire arm oil do not mistake hope nitro for nitro fuel aditive Avoid all potentially corrosive detergent oil additives that clean engine

David gives good advice, but I'm at odds regarding Remoil. I have used it for years with excellent results. Just don't use WD-40.

Remoil is good stuff!! WD40, I don't know how they can sell that crap in a can!

Why we should never put WD40 in Cox engine ?
I use WD40 on many things with great success over the years
I wish to learn, I' m new on Cox engine clean up.

WD40 is a semi lubricant. It leaves a thin layer of oil that evaporates after a little time. It displaces water but it also contain solvents. You need a full oil formula like as Singer sewing machine oil.

Thank's , I use 3 in One oil on my Cox. Where I used WD40, I never have any issue.
