Hey Jerry , the enging compartment is painted with black fuel proof paint . I will spray a light cote of clear poly on the rest of the plane,.Jerry wrote:Will you do anything for fuel proofing? It’s fantastic!

There is a 1/2a control line scale event at the nats in Muncie…. In a nutshell the three biggest measures… are the general dimensions scale… is there documentation to verify that your finish represents a full scale aircraft and will it fly ten laps. I would guess that a Guillows model is close to scale dimensions. Does your paint scheme replicate a full scale 109… can you keep it in the air for 10 laps.

At 3 second laps, 10 laps would be 30 seconds flight. Does seem to be an achievable reality, IMO.
