Strange looking Olympic. 15

Strange looking Olympic. 15
Did COX ever offer a factory "choke valve" throttle for the Olympic. 15? It appears to be threaded in, just like the venturi. It is not anodized, nor is it polished. The body is cube shaped with a long actuator arm. It's attached to a long intake tube and has a simple non-fluted straight short tube on the outer end. It has a screen across the large opening, so you can't tell if has a rotating barrel or butterfly valve. If it's homemade, it's very well machined. The rest looks like standard Olympic.

Couldn't find Rise RC
Neat looking setup! Did they just use reeds and cap off the front rotary valve? The $300+ with shipping was just too much for me to justify for my Prairie Bird kit. But man what a sound it would make, I think your right!

Yes, the front was sealed up with a plastic body and the backplate was swapped out
with a Sportsman .049 backplate with a high speed reed.
