Nah...just fine as is. This could be the first CL.plane that can do barrel loops! Bwahaha!

Balsa and spruce is your friend. Wing and tailplane will be easy to replace with the real thing. :-)

I agree, that horizontal stab and elevator are toast but the wing is savable. I would remove the bomb rack and build a jig out of Luan to the dimentions of the wing - upper and lower, heat and clamp and repeat over a few days, a little at a time. I had something worse on a Cosmic Wind and it removed almost all of the bends.
But, I know that Joe has his own method and has a handle on it.

Thanks guys , well I learned what not to do when heating up old plastic , straitened the horizontal stab , but had the heat on it a lil to long , had to amputate it.

Re: Got my work cut out for me on this one
It looks great Joe. Only way to do it, cut away the damaged horizontal stab/elevator and build a new one. Formula 560 works to cement it on but I would think that you used epoxy? The rest of the plane looks pretty straight. So glad that you are saving the Cox AD-6/A1.
