Here's a couple plans that might be of interest, the first is probably the best, easiest to build, most durable trainer, stunt trainer ever made. Go to site and look under: Plans and info

I can definately vouch for the Man-Win trainer found at the first link. Mine has a little less outthrust than shown on the drawing but still stays out on the lines well enough to do overhead 8s till the tank runs dry.
