Cox Engine of The Month
Dew on The Bee!

Dew on The Bee!
My Lazy Bee had been resting peacefully for a while, with the plastic RTF's and B.O.T.'s getting all the action, so I decided to drag it out of it's hibernation.
I've been making a point of swapping engines on the 14-year-old plane, and had bolted up an Ebay Enya .09 to a new engine mount a while back, but hadn't gotten the thing test-flown. .09's and .10's are just about the right size for this plane if you want a gentle cruiser.
Waking up around 4 am, with coffee cup in hand, I cranked up the power in the Skunk Works and set about setting up the Bee with it's new mill.
The Lazy Bee got four flights in with the Enya, drifting through the fog and 110% humidity, and pulling a few Hot-Dog turn-arounds in the front yard.
The Bee sits on my dew-covered stand, waiting to be fueled and launched.
Like it's owner, the Bee is showing it's age !!!!
Flying a lot of unthrottled-dead-stick-landing-everytime airplanes REALLY makes a guy appreciate the luxury of that 3rd channel !!!

If I was a girl, I'd say, "That's so cuuuuute!." Thank goodness I'm not. But I do like the exhaust pipe on the little bugger.

Thanks Rusty!
This is a short one I made up this morning. The Bee has had a LOT of tailpipes over the years...the longest one going all the way back to the rudder, making cool gurgling sounds when I flew the Bee off water !
