He wouldn't budge on the "local pick-up" thing & it was over 500 miles from me.  I offered him much more than he was asking (it started at 99c with $5 buy it now) but he said "If it doesn't sell I'll donate it to a local club.  The money isn't important."
Doesn't sell???  It was gone within the hour, surprise surprise affraid
So close but so far No
I'm sure whoever got it will probably move it on for a handsome profit.  As for me, all I wanted was one of these when I was 12.  Poor farming family couldn't afford one & I ended up with a Testors P-40.  I love the P-40 but it was a pain to keep in the air- rock on a string.  It would have fulfilled a childhood dream for me. Sad
