A Cyclone comes......
From humble beginnings.
As previously posted here I bought a Black Hawk Cyclone model to replace my long lost and forgotten Scientific model. I think what attracted me to it was the wing. I love the design, lots of wing area and pleasing wing tips.
I have since got it to the painting stage. I'm no longer good with brushed finishes so I invested in Top Flights "Luster coat" in popular colors which really just is dope in a spray can, thinner cleans it up nicely.
So far I have brushed on and sanded three coats of Aero gloss sanding sealer followed by two coats of spray primer, followed (on the fuselage) with two coats of color.
Primed the wing.
I'm painted the wing yellow, the vertical stab red, the horizontal stab yellow and the elevator and firewall black along with the filler pieces in front of the wing. I will probably finish it off with some decals add the red tanked Space Bug Jr. and get dizzy.
