New Tin Fuel Tank Cleaning
Hi again. I had made a new tin fuel tank yesterday for a control line model I am getting going. So, my tank is all finished and soldered, but now come the cleaning. Can I use 'Mineral Spirits' to flush it with? Fill it up, cap all vents, shake and leave sit for a bit. Blow out fuel and repeat? Would this be alright. After this, I would run alcohol through it just to clean it up. Thank you in advance.

Re: New Tin Fuel Tank Cleaning
Just an extra step. The alcohol should take everything out. It won't hurt anything and if you feel better doing it go for it.
I always do water first and pressure test in the sink.
