I'm getting ready to build a vacuum forming jig. Iv'e got an idea how to do it but if anyones got some ideas, I'd love to hear them........Thanks

Ahhh! I can't find the one I thought I had saved to my "I wanna do this later file". I did quick search on you tube, and found this one from the UK, very similar to the one I'd saved but a bit larger in size. The first one the guy was making wheel pants and canopies cut out of a circular plastic dinner plates, like 10 cents each, on a 12x12 box.
Both look quite easy to fab and operate. I'll see if I can locate the original, until then watch this:

I guess there's kinda two threads going here on CEF about vacuum forming.
I just posted this on the other thread and see the cosplay guy on youtube has been found.
This is the youtube where he goes into his heating system to melt the thermoplastic.
The part about the heating system starts around the 5:00 mark and I have been looking into the infrared heater that he used.
Maybe Sam's or BJ's here in the states.

Here's a cheap 600/1200 W heater from Walmart.
