How to post an image in a topic. (Updated 3-10-2016)
Recent updates to the forum software included a new image uploader. With this, you can now upload multiple pictures at once. I'll be adding step by step pictures, but for now I have made a video.

Ah, okay, so you use the link starting with "[URL=..." I'd been using the plain http string and adding [img] tags. That works, but takes more steps.
Also when choosing multiple pictures with a keyboard, you can hold down the CTRL key and select all three with less motions.
Thanks for the work making the video, Jacob. Great job.

I actually prefer to type the [img] tags manually with just the image URL in between. It's easier to show it done with just one step though, lessens confusion.
You can also drag the pictures to the uploader from your desktop. You can upload up to 25 pictures at a time.

Ya, Now that I have it working Eric. Internet Explorer just would not recognize the new host it system so I switched brousers to Google Chrome.
I finally made it to the LHS, last two Eric, I'll split them with you. I asked him if they were hard to get, he said he didn't think so but when he went to order a new supply it came up as "Not available." He said if he had known that he would have charged more for them. I took display and all, may be a collectors item some day. I will get it out to you early next week. Feel honored, I will ship it in the same box that Ron Cribbs sent me an Enya .19. Thanks Ron.

uploading photos and Ambroid glue
thanks for the uploading info, I will have to go over it a few times to get use to it. My new weekend schedule will give me time to get my Cox car models on the site. By the way, I wonder what happened to the Ambroid glue? I bought 6 of them years back and mailed to a friend up north, I don't know if they went out of business or just make it on partial runs. I always enjoyed using it but I believe most guys use the CynoAcryrolate for balsa. Bill.

CH, try it from a PC or Mac/tablet first.
Doing it on a smart phone gets tough with the limited screen real-estate. You have to slide the "visible portion of the screen" right, left, up, down. The upload/attach feature may not stay centered in the visible area as a dominant work area. This is easier to overcome once you see "the big picture."

Thanks Men!!
Okay, thanks to some helpful folks I've figured it out. My Samsung tablet was partially to blame. When I clicked on the uploader button it would zoom in to the topic area and the uploader box would not display leading me to believe that was the wrong button. Jim's suggestion helped me figure out that I have to zoom back out at which point the uploader displays properly.

I just can't post here running Windows 7. Last time was when I e-mailed pictures to someone here, and they did it for me. Just can't take the frustration anymore. Eddy

I’ve discovered that after I post an image from my from my phone… if I delete the image from my phone it’s no longer visible here in the post. Am I doing something wrong or is that the way it works?

no that is not how it works. Serving.com has the image forever or five years, their choice.
I have never had that happen. Running Mac and iOS.

Make sure you're posting only the servimg link to the photo as shown in the video above.
Sometimes you can accidentally post the file location to the photo on your computer or phone, and the photo will show up for you and only you.

Also if you have an ad blocker enabled, you may want to disable it for CEF only. This may inhibit the CEF dialogue windows from properly operating.
