Well, there are definitely some very different engines out there. Makes me wonder what other oddities are still out there.

Good stuff Mark , enjoyed the history lesion . It is amazing all the difft. designs and engineering out there from years ago when now a days no one is willing to go out on a limb or they figure its already been done . Eric

I enjoyed the video - strange though, I have an ED Otter and thought it a normal marine engine! Must be my age.
I also have to remark how things come around in circles. Quite a few new model aeroplane engines are now, once again, spark ignition and like the geared Webra - RCV currently produce six geared engines, all four strokes.
