Tanked reddies have one very common problem if you like to do more than go roundie/ round. Lack of flying time. Even a Sure start can run good with a decent tank. Modified with spi and other items even better. If you run Cox then the Td is a good ticket. This is a Cox forum and will talk about them. Brodak sells fine line of tanks and also makes the Perfect types also. Uniflow is way to go unless you use bladder tanks. Cold weather makes all small engines hard to start. I have seen a few guys say lighter fluid hepls with priming a cold engine. Bladder tanks can be held on with rocket tube/ film canister etc. [35mm] If you have some ability and like flying then move up to a .15 sized Cox. Madallion .09-.15 good engines/ Sportsman .15/ Olympic also but rather a collector item. Sportsman's are common and not bad even on ebay. Texas timers has a website and shows how to make a bladder. You can do away with check valve and use line clip or hemostat. T-fitting are used in Auto supply stores for vacume lines and are very cheap.

Sullivan 1oz tanks also work well. .049's get around 20 minutes depending on the engine.
