Look at this liitle guy fly combat!!!!!!!

At the control line contest this weekend (stunt, PA, carrier, and combat), this little 5 year old grabbed a handle and flew an F2D plane and this 1/2A .049 Tee Dee. The combat guys let him chase them (he'd only flew level laps and loops on accident before this weekend). He grabbed his first handle a couple weeks ago. Amazing to watch this little guy, holding his little pants up with one hand and flying with the other. He can even fly eyes off, we kept catching him watching the planes shadow and real plane taking off at the airport.

Kept after his dad to fill it up again so he could fly more. Dad finally had to say no more.

Very entertaining! That was a LOT of loops without untwisting... Laughing

Do you suppose his lines might have bound-up?

I don't think so. He'd done more than that a couple times. His dad kept telling him to slow down on the loops. He'll have to learn outsides soon. We had a great time with him after the contest when most had left. I thought he might have been looping to stop getting dizzy. But he said "no", he was fine.

That was quite the video and pilot! Them's was quite the loops and number of them too! Good young flier.

You can twist the crap out of lines without ill effects. Believe me I know,when I first started out and learned to do a loop I got caught up trying to untwist the lines about 10" away from the plane. I had to go to the handle and start from there before I could walk the lines.

This kid has a pretty hot one out on the lines. He's another natural. I believe Sam Londke, Mike's son, was flying unaided before he was 6. He's won Basic Flight at a couple of contests and always does the bonus point loops.
