Way to go....nice flights, no dizzies, young reflexes.
I like the scratched PT-19, looks great and durable. That must be your take-off runway in the foreground???? ROG each time?
Thanks for sharing. I still have memories of my son and I doing the same many years ago. Heck we still do.

Watched the videos on your YouTube channel and your son is doing very well.
I see you have a tachometer, I want to buy one but they are out-of-stock everywhere. What's up with that?

Good work for being a good Dad, Eric. One of the hardest things there is in life is planting seeds of productive thinking in the brains of teenagers. Idiotic young creatures that have reached an age where they begin to realize they know a lot of stuff, but have Z-E-R-O concept yet as to how much they DO NOT KNOW.
Ramblin Rusty, been there done that too... and it worked!... all except my son still can't fly worth a crap Lol. But he has thanked me for not allowing him to have a video console.
Is that too deep for an airplane discussion?
Good flying.

Re: My Son Fling Some Balsa !!
Thanks Guys!! I will show your reply's to Justin to help boost him a little more . He is challenging to try what patient that I have left At the least I have a fling buddy for the back yard , he even ask if we could fly together (two in the circle ) that put chills in my spine But I am not one to give in and told him in time and more practice . He is getting the hang of starting the engine some adjusting too . Yea Bob that's the take off stooge there on the cart , I was really wanted to use it for the first time but didn't ..... The Pt-19 with that 3 blade prop did a lot better than I thought it would and looks good too! More to come

Now he probably ain't gonna like that "Idiot" remark I made Lol. Just a general statement from my own observations... don't tell him where I live.

Its all good Rusty , he read the replys and was smiling so I know it hit home everbody talking him up on his fling // I told him you flew very well and was in the competition . He wanted to know if we could do that for $$ I just smiled back and said money isn't everthing as long as your rich with what makes you happy ! And you need more practice

Re: My Son Fling Some Balsa !!
I find myself always smiling when I see someone returning back or just learning the curves of the flying experience. It doesn't matter what size the plane is or style, it 's just a neat feeling knowing that some can share the same experience as we all did who tried this. My son and I last weekend assisted a young flyer in his first flight. My son noted that he was standing on the side lines watching and hoping to give this a go. A fellow club member had a trainer and we put him up in the air. To my surprise, I looked over at my son now positioned directly behind him and he was hands free of the handle. This young fellow picked up on it immediately like a pocket on a t-shirt he was flying solo within seconds. Nice job Eric and good luck with further success. Ken
