Yesterday's flying and video
After the difficulties with the engine of the Flying Sorcerer, I rebuilt the engine with new gaskets and while flying yesterday, the engine ran again as new. I suspect there was an air leak somewhere. I flew both planes again yesterday. We had open blue sky and no wind on ground level.

Those look like some very nice flights. Glad to hear you got the pee wee running again. Certainly can not complain about the weather, as it looks very nice also. Here in Michigan yesterday, 1st of November, our outdoor temp was 70 F. And sunny. Very unusual for this time of year. Thanks for taking and shareing your videos!

Glad you like it. Below a map with start and landings as in the video.

Lieven, I thought that was great. My son and I got a real kick out of your videos. We both love free flight. Just to put some faces with the names, here's a pic of us this past weekend at our combat contest https://www.facebook.com/PhillyFliersCL/photos/pb.513140418756097.-2207520000.1478133548./1224568917613240/?type=3&theater

What I like about it, is that the plane is on its own once in the air. It will behave only as good as it is built. Both models climb very well but a bigger model would be welcome so it can be seen better! Ken, did you see the video's I made last year?

Re: Yesterday's flying and video
I did see your videos, I always enjoy watching them. Our field here where we were flying freeflight had a bit of an issue. We lost the freeflight part which is a bit upsetting to me. One of the guys set something off that went pretty high which threatened the fields existence so they voted on no uncontrolled flying objects from here on out. However, I haven't given up yet. I plan on doing a single channel rudder only freeflight job.

Re: Yesterday's flying and video
Good luck with the project Ken. The field over her is just farmer's land and luckily without fences (!?) except where the cows are to the right. Nobody pays attention on what's going on. I hope it'll stay that way for a long time. Only when there is wheat or corn, flying becomes impossible. Even now, there was some knee high plantations I think for cattle I think, and it was sometimes not easy to find a plane back. And in the morning you get soaking wet up to the zizi, even with wellies on. A big advantage is that the field is just across the street. On the Google Maps picture, my house is on the left in the middle.
