Like the auto accident you can't turn away from

Post  rsv1cox on Thu Dec 22, 2016 9:55 am

My $2.80 modern era Enya .15-IV.  Pretty toasty with a mangled needle valve and other maladies.  No glow plug and locked up pretty tight but I am going to try to get it to run prior to cleaning and compare results.

Why do people put the prop nut on backwards?  It's a fifty/fifty thing I guess, but there is a right way on these Enya's and most other Japanese engines.

The solder is because those spring NVA setups are known to come apart and bad times.

No problems with that one Bob. Apart from the needle, she'll come up looking a treat with a good boil & scrub. I can look through that old Castor and see a hidden gem. I'll betcha it will look brand new again.
