Part of my job involves disassembling data-storage systems.. for AVR (Asset Value Recovery) and responsible recycling of materials. As a result (as well as a sick obsession..) I've amassed quite a quantity/variety of small-wire springs in many sizes; compression and tension.. along with specialty hinge-springs.

Maybe you need one for a needle-valve.. or a "better" one. I have several "jars-full" broken-down into 3 categories; being tension, compression and specialty. Perhaps I was a clock-maker in a past-life.. IDK Shocked

but I find springs to be a marvel of engineering.. with endless modeling-applications.

I don't have a means for measuring spring-force.. but I'm open to suggestions. Not that it's crucial to an app.. but if I had a spring of the size that you needed.. I'd like to think I could provide one to spec.

I might be your go-to guy for a spring. Let me know if you need one.

Yes, I need springs all the time. In fact I need some return springs for a set of volkswagon seats.

They're the biggest tension-springs I have.

The dark set on the bottom would work. They would have to be cut to length though. New they cost $7-8. Probably not worth the time and shipping.
