An army of Frogs eh??? They'd sound nice marching together on mass. No "croaks" in that lot.
Sorry Ian, didn't really know what to say, but didn't want you to suffer yet another unanswered post
When it comes to diesels, you're certainly the "go-to" man.

Ian, I also would like to comment, just so you don't think your posts go unread. I enjoy seeing and reading the information about your collections. The linc to the Model Engine News is going to be a nice evenings read by the fireside! Somewhere I picked up the idea that I'm never to old to learn something new, your posts help in that every time!
Not a ferverent religious sort, but wasn't the infestation of FROGS one of the promised plagues of the sinners? Is there a brand of engines called locust?

Re: An army of Frog 80s
Please never feel obliged to answer one of my engine picture posts. I see from the stats that they have been viewed. I post them as I take time to catalogue them.
I have had these Frogs for some time. The Mk I is BNIB but the other two were lying in my restore box, one awaiting an NVA.
I hadn't realised that I had the three versions until I looked closely. Only missing the glow (Frog 049) for a set.
Army is the collective noun for a group of Frogs. Like a gaggle of geese or a swarm of Bees.
Frog is an acronym for "Flies right of the ground".
I like all pictures of engines and the more views the better. Nothing beats handling or running one
