Wanted Wanted:140 Parts

Post  TrailHaunter Sat Feb 10, 2018 5:56 pm

Good evening everyone.

I am currently looking for the following 140 series parts:

1. #8052 - Shroud(flywheel side)
2. #8535 - Crankshaft(flywheel side)

I know parts for these saws are very hard to come by but if anyone has either of these parts or knows someone who does, I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you!

Is there a parts section for the 140 on that website? (Referring to the most recent reply by Mark) I went there but it just looked like a information page about the saw itself.

If you look on the left of this page under the "INFO" section you will see "Instruction Sheets".  There's a 140 illustrated parts manual available there.

Oh ok. I have all the original paperwork with my 140 which includes a parts diagram, the manual, and the letter from company saying they discontinuing the product line so I have all the part numbers I need but just not the parts.

I would think your average small engine shop might have the appropriate bulk line in stock. I'd recommend taking the pulley with you. You want the smallest line whose knot won't pull through..

Very true. Universal starter cord is also available on ebay. Do an ebay search for Cox Beaver parts, hard to find in good condition though.
