Rhodium hit $10,000 per oz in the past and now it's over that..

producer of rhodium is South Africa. There is no futures market for rhodium, but there

only thing missing is the unit of measure.....lithium is it per oz or ton

the rhodium is per oz as is gold and others I recognize

Platinum is only $1,000 and has remained fairly steady. I didn't know that rhodium was even used. I am sure the wire form that is used costs much more than the $10,000 / oz. but very little would be needed.

anyone have research on what is needed on glow plugs....seems to me several different catalysts are used and all not pure element but Plated over niChrome

The problem is that it is one of the many metals used in catalytic converters and so it is in demand from car manufacturers.

This has also led to a booming industry stealing catalytic converters from cars here in the UK
