Upcoming - Value priced new Cox engines
Just sorted through the over 200 new Cox engines we received. About 30 are not in OEM packaging and perhaps 30 in OEM packaging that is not pristine enough for collector grade.
Our plan is to sell those (aprx. 60) engines by themselves (all brand new unless otherwise indicated) at a lower price point; perhaps 50% of "normal" retail. This would mean a TD .010 for $99 instead of the $249 that we generally list them at.
The target audience is someone who is looking for a new "runner" as opposed to adding to a collection. Looks like we have the following engines that we can sell loose:
010 Tee Dee
020 Pee Wee
020 Tee Dee
Babe Bee
Black Widow
Texaco
RC Bee
Dragonfly
QRC
049 Killer Bee
051 Killer Bee
049 Medallion
049 Medallion RC (Muffler / ring combo)
049 Tee Dee
051 Tee Dee
Thermal Hopper
Queen Bee
09 Medallion
09 Tee Dee
15 Medallion

Re: Upcoming - Value priced new Cox engines
Bernie,
Are you going to sell them on your website?
When are you going to post/list them?
Thinking of getting "two" Pee Wee 020's. to go into a Willy Nillies S-Tee and Jr. Falcon?
Ordered the kits last week (electric?)
Thanks,

Re: Upcoming - Value priced new Cox engines
I'd be interested in one or more Pee Wee .020 engines, if the price is reasonable. Possibly a Killer Bee .049 (if an original version with lightened crank and proper cylinder).

Bernie,
Do you have any first edition (1973) Black Widows? I am looking for a Spider Box package.

Bernie: i would be interested 1 of the Texaco engines if they are not too expensive. And maybe 1 of the Medallion .049 RC with muffler and ring combo if it is not the standard throttle ring, but the silver muffler with the throttle made by someone else who's name slips me right now. I already have the Medallion with throttle ring. Thanks.

A Texaco and the Killer Bees would be something I’d like to add to my collection if the price is right.

Yes, on our website or directly to requesters; whichever comes first. However, looks like all the Pee Wees are spoken for before this reply.

Oh, we have some rare engines too but they are all in OEM packaging and not exactly a bargain, unfortunately.
Re: Upcoming - Value priced new Cox engines
Is there still TD .010? I'd like to fly this toddler right after PeeWee .020 . I would be happy to buy it if it was at such a bargain price

010 tie clip engines: We did acquire one some time ago but it is in our house collection
RR-1: We had two listed a couple of weeks ago in OEM packaging
Olympic: We had one listed not that long ago in OEM packaging
Space hoppers: We currently have two NIB but no time yet to list
Strato Bug: We occasionally get new ones (without packaging). For the 3 or 4 we listed in the past year, pricing was $495 and they always sold quickly.

You are not missing anything.
Anything we listed sold right away, except for the TD 049 engines, as there are still some left.
However, we have only listed a small portion so far of what we have due to lack of time. We are posting here to see what pre-sells so that we don't have to list
