Don't get confused between the Royal Spitfire, the Royal Baby Spitfire and, for that matter, the Baby Spitfire. Three different engines.
The Sceptreflight article states that the Royal Spitfire is .064 capacity, but I would go with the 6 being the mould identification. The Spitzy (related) had similar numbers cast into the tank.

A lot times the die cast number is location in die
Unless you would see other engines it is hard to till what the number was used for.
