Re: Lock-down......again
Well, we welcome yet another lockdown, number 5. Snap 5 day (so they say) stay-at-home lockdown announced last night for the state of Victoria. All because of 18 active cases in our state capitol and close surrounding regions. Most of the state, 100s of KMs from Melbourne, no local cases and kids have to learn from home, again, businesses shut yet again, 6 hours notice so imagine the waste from restaurants and food businesses, fully stocked for the weekend. I can't see it ending on Tuesday like they say. Bet it gets extended like every other time.
I was supposed to be doing a 5 hour drive today for a weekend band gig, now cancelled. Had exactly the same thing happened last year to the same event. It was a live-in weekend conference which had around 14 hours from the announcement to the planned start time. Really unfair being such short notice.

Write your government representative Rod, does no good complaining here.
I just penned my state Senator regarding an issue I have a concern with.

Well, I'll hopefully get a little sympathy here. I don't get any from the government
