Re: How long will it be until.........................
Nitros oxide is an element in the "laughing gas" sometimes used by dentists, true. There are many indutrial applications of nitros and it's regulation would become a complex issue likely generating huge problems radiating from it's restriction.
Very similar to the further restrictions on guns actually.

what would happen if further restrictions where introduced on firearms?SuperDave wrote:Nitros oxide is an element in the "laughing gas" sometimes used by dentists, true. How do you get 406 out of a SBC?
SuperDave
You bore a 1970 GM 400 sbc .030 over, then you add Dart Iron Eagle SBC heads (or any sbc heads) with a 64cc combustion chamber.
The Edelbrock plate system kicks in and adds a extra 125hp to the motor 425 hp, Bascially like adding a extra gear to a TH400 transmission when the Nos comes on. Better than a E-ticket ride at Wally world .
Heck, a company made a tiny Nos kit for a Traxxas Tmaxx. YouTube it,,it's pretty comical when that little sucker comes alive.
Some of the Full scale reno air racers use big 100lb bottles stuffed up inside the belly of modded P-51's,,for the extra kick down the "valley of Speed" on the course

They'd be driven further "underground" then the criminal element would REALLY have control.

yes that is sort of like what has happened over here.
the way it is for us:
Farmers have shotguns,Police have mp5s and glocks, gangs have it all and we have little bightly coloured airsoft guns.

Re: How long will it be until.........................
Yes but having guns readily available presents it's own problems such as when. A gun owner goes insane it usually ends up in at least one person being shot.
Re: How long will it be until.........................
Guns only have 2 enemys,,Rust and politicians.
Getting my CCW permit very soon, as that is another liberty that will be either taken away or so severly restricted it will be impossible to obtain.
The japanese never even thought about invading the US during WWII. You know why?? When the question was posed to the emporer, Admiral Yamamoto who was in attendance was quoted as saying, "There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass"!!
Just by owning riflles and that begin known, saved our crazy infidel backsides.

Re: How long will it be until.........................
This forum that I started here began with a discussion of the pobbible regulation of nitro fuel. Now it has drifted off into guns?
I'm going to start a new off-topic thread about guns. If you are interested join me there.
