Re: Cox Medallion 09 Bearer spacing?
Thanks. I saw that one but it still does not give the vital info I need.
I want to know the dimension of the outer crankcase so I can adjust my engine bearers exactly to the engine.
in other words...the distance between bearers.
I have googled it all over and amazed this dimension is not revealed.

Woody,
I'll get those to you in a couple of hours. I'll be taking a break from the heat soon.

Essentially, I come up with .800". 13/16" is .812"

That radiused chamfer, though really too small to see, was making it a bit difficult. That's why there is the measure in parenthesis.
Considering when these were manufactured, I'd build for 13/16" and call it done.

Thanks Ken and Jim.
Just the info I need and the drawing was perfect.
So nice to see people manipulating a pencil or pen instead of hi Tech stuff.
Thanks again.

Re: Cox Medallion 09 Bearer spacing?
Glad others came through. My Medallion .09 is in a box in the garage, but after back surgery 4 days ago, am in no position to retrieve.
Kraft engine mount table that came with their mounts had that info too, engine crankcase width next to engine mount flange location plus the bolt spacing, and the length and width of all engine mounts, so one could select the right Kraft engine mount.
The original Cox engine instructions (not PDF) came with the drawing to full scale, so you could pick off the dimensions you needed by simply putting a ruler to it.

Thanks good buddy.
you take good care of yourself and I wish you a speedy recovery.
I had a near fatal road accident some years back. rolled the car multiple times and landed in a field.
The fire brigade had to cut me out and I was rushed to hospital in a helicopter.
I should have been dead.
I had spinal surgery and my spine is held and bolted together with Titanium rods.
It was the most painful thing in my life and was told I might not walk again.
I soon damned well fixed that and went for walks in two croutches, then one, then none. against all orders.
It was agony but I pulled through.
The angels were with me I think.
Oh yes I know all about back pain.
Would not wish it on my enemy.
