Help Authenticate NFFS Medallion
I was lucky enough to get two of the NFFS Medallions at an estate sale. The sale featured lots of FF stuff, mostly vintage.
I bought all of the cox engines and never realized that two were special until a few days later.
Mine don't have "the letter", but seem to be authentic.
I really don't want to put a wrench on them, but is there any way to verify that they are the real deal?
They will be sold to fund another project, so authenticity is important to their value, of course.

Wow, why can't I find stuff like that at an estate sale!
The engraving looks to be consistent with what I've seen in pictures of other NFFS Medallions, but I'd wait for others to chime in.
You could contact Bob Beecroft and see if he can verify, he might also be able to tell you who originally owned them. You could potentially see if that happens to be of the estate you bought them from.

Re: Help Authenticate NFFS Medallion
Thanks guys.
The estate was for a man that had hundreds of kits, engines, tools, etc.
It was obviously cherry picked before the sale, but the Cox stuff was still there.
I made them a good offer on all of the kits, but they declined.
Good thing too. Almost every kit was just scrap wood or PVC pipes!
They really had no idea. I tried to tell them that a Gentle Lady kit never had PVC pipes. They told me that it it may have, originally.
I just shook my head and walked away. With my (unknown) big scores at a good price.
