Cool...looks to be so ! In either case, Rat or King, my little Sheltie took one sniff of the container and wanted nothing to do with it! She wasn't so insulted however, as to pass up a ride out through the country...a stop at Dairy Queen always makes everything better !

Looks to be a Miata......

Some snakes when frightened give off a "musk" from their anal gland. Pretty heady stuff and might explain why the Sheltie kept her distance.

Looks like an eastern king to me as a rat snake is jet black with no markings. Kingsnakes or snakes in general have varied coloration (phases) within the same species.

I could be wrong....... Wink

black rats kinda vary around here from all black to being some what striped.

Just did a google search and it appears what you call a miata I call Mazda Mx5.

Yep...or as I affectionately refer to it--- "Almost-A-Car" !

Gonna sell it before too long. I just bought a Chevy HHR, which gets the same gas mileage (30/gal), but can haul a lot more stuff !

Yeah...my mechanic buddy at the airport has been making noises about buying it so he and his son can hang some V-8 in it.

Not really my style as I need something that will just keep running well while it hauls my gear where I want it to go.

If he buys it, he could hang a jet engine in it for all I care...as long as his family doesn't try to sue me after he scatters himself across the state !
