RC 049 flying wing plan?????
Hi gang,
I searched this and get lots of cool looking CL planes. I am looking for a simple RC plank for my Black Widow for SPEED ...I'm feelin' the need for SPEED today.
I know this does not compute well with my last post about eye sight issues
I'll just have to fly it by EAR
I can cut a foam wing for it if needed.

Re: RC 049 flying wing plan?????
i to am thinking about making a cox .049 powered flying wing, out of the poster board from hobby lobby, using the almighty simple kf airfoil, and covering the plane in tape or monokote

Check ProBroJoe's Kombat Kid in RCU --- it's about as simple as it gets and pretty quick:

I have the PDF if you're interested.

RC 049 Flying Wing Plan
There is a very, very quick delta on rcuniverse called Blink,
Balsa build about 7 or 8 parts only, weighs 7 1/2 oz for any
0.049 you think you could keep up with.
I've got the PDF thinking maybe one of the young hot shots
at my club might fly it. John

The Blink is a Patrick Ulmer design that is quite fast. Being fast and small, it can get away from you pretty quickly. If you're looking for a fairly quick build and super quick plane, the Blink would be a good choice. Just carry an extra pair of britches to the field --- it is not for the faint of heart.
If this doesn't wind your clock, nothing will!!

Ace GLH II
Hey,
Well I just won an Ace GLH II kit on the FLEAba^
SOOOOO That settles it! I have Blink plans but I probably could not handle that one.
Also just recieved a few props, and 049 assembly/ disassembly tools, a throttle for a sure start (I bought 4 or 5 when they were $8 each) and a couple of Texaco props I thought might be good on an 09. ANYHOW I am very happy with the stuff from Bearnie.
