WTB TeeDee .15 Gold Prop Driver and Spinner
I'm trying to restore a plier victim.
They do not have to be new, just decent and fair price paid.

Re: WTB TeeDee .15 Gold Prop Driver and Spinner
I only have 3 Tee Dee .15s, and not much in the way of spares for them sorry, but I know a guy here in Oz who makes parts and restores Tee Dees and other engines... see his page here: http://www.pelaero.com.au/Fletcher%20Products.htm

I've been after a driveplate for quite some time. Matt from Ex Model Engines offered to restore the original one, I haven't gone through with it yet. If you want to try that, you could contact him.

Would be happy to see if I could clean up the old one...free of charge.
If interested, send me an email sales@exmodelengines.com

Re: WTB TeeDee .15 Gold Prop Driver and Spinner
Thanks guys.
My only one is a gold case. It was severely abused with pliers. The backplate, collar, driveplate, spinner AND screw are very deeply bitten several times but suprisingly the cylinder only has a very slight patch on the clean side of the lower cylinder wall that almost can go un-noticed, its still all black and only one squiggly fin. The glow head cannot be shown at this time...LOL!
Actually when I recieved the engine after winning it in a blurry picture auction from a biligerent owner who avoided questions arrived, it was of course a dissapointment but due to other sharp buyers out there that knew better to stay away the first sign of plier marks, let me have it shockingly cheap (I think less than $50 and had very few views ~ yes, it was that obvious it was in bad shape).
The good news here is the case was never gripped by pliers, only normal bench abuse marks on the corners of the lug and overtightening marks on the holes which looked larger than they were because of the blurr. The black plastic carb body is gleaming and get this...the rod is still snug and theres a good amount of pinch going on with it so it looks like if I can get replacements for what is chewed, it will be golden The venturi assembly is spanking clean.
I have a new backplate waiting and a MECOA head for it which will make it look nice.
Since my motor is out I decided to slow cook it outside in the poison crock pot and clean it up at least. This is why I have started looking for those two parts again plus this is the best place to look!
Thanks again
