Sally Ride passed away Empty Sally Ride passed away

Sally Ride passed away after her battlle with pancreatic cancer. I hope everyone will say a prayer for her and her family. She was a blessing to all of us and a true national hero. She handled being the first U. S. woman in space with incredible grace, poise, dignity and courage, just like she handles her entire career with the space program. She will be sorely missed.

Thanks for letting us know, I'm sad to hear that. I shall mourn her passing. The space program is one of the things we do that makes me proud of NASA, the ESA, the Russian Space Agency and all of the countries that have pooled their resources despite our petty political differences to further our chances of preserving and living beyond our planet.
