Recommended prop size for Medallion .15
Can someone tell me what the recommended prop size and nitro % for a Cox Medallion .15 is, and how does this engine compare to the TD .15 in terms of RPM or power?
Thanks
Thanks

8x4 prop and 25% nitro should get you 13k to 14k RPM on a Medallion 15. My TD 15 Special Mk II will get 16.1k with an 8x4 prop and 25% nitro.

Here's some charts taken from the Medallion and TD manuals. Those manuals are free to download at the link located in the sidebar on the left just above the Cox Engine of the Month.
As for the kind of prop, fuel and location used for the above tests, I can't say. However, a few other manuals say this.
(Race Power Fuel being 30% Nitro, 20% oil with 18% of it being Castor)

If you are looking for the original Cox 8x4 competition prop, here it is:

I'm probably wrong but I thought that Cox
Fuel was 15+25 % nitro blue and red cans.
