As if it couldn't get any better
After my drive back from Tulsa, I stepped out of the old pickup walked out back set up my gear and wrang the Baby Clown out for 20 mins. I did my first set of consecutive outside loops ever. I think I have it down now. Must have been the high from the concert. Natural high mind you.........
I had a white Tornado 6x3 on the nose. The Clown started to lose steam around the second loop and barely pulled out of the third. Guess I need to cut it down. Too bad really as I was liking the slower speed.

Ron, I have one observation about the Tornadoes. I haven't flown one, but I was given a bunch of new 6x3s and on the Tee Dee it runs way under the static RPM that other props turn. I don't know what that means. It might have a higher pitch than labeled. The third loop is usually my grass skimming last outsider when I do full jammed elevator loops.
I'm glad you got it looping. If you ease off the elevator during the climb into the next loop it'll gain more altitude and you can keep the consecutive loops going longer, rather than just jamming full elevator and hanging on and hoping. Now that you can trust it, you can work on using the elevator to make the big round loops like the pattern requires. Did you start from inverted or right side up? Either way is legal in competition.

I started from right side up. I have more MA's I can cut down. I do like that prop except they are fragile. Does MA still make them? I never see them on the shelves.
Yeah, for outside loops I am just slamming the down elevator. For insides I can fly through them.
You may be right I might be making them too tight and the elevator is acting like a brake.
I'll try again today, weather seems good.

Ron that picture in your avie is the coolest ever. In my office at work I had the full size 30x42 poster version with the whole band in that same action shot in front of a towering wall of Marshall amps.

It certainly captures the bands' intensity!
