Brodak Shipping rate

Brodak offers a flate rate for shipping at $9.99, I have always thought it was a tad pricey.
Theoretically you could order $5 worth of parts and by the time it hits the doorstep it cost you $15. I will say this however, they will ship the fastest way possible for your $10. I ordered a tank and a set of leadouts on Tuesday evening and needed them by Saturday. They didn't know this, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received a personal note saying they were shipped priority and will arrive Friday.
I say all this just to inform those who think the shipping is high that Brodak makes all efforts to ship quickly and the turnaround is less than 24hrs once the order is placed.
This is not a paid advertisement or an endorsement.

I believe I've mentioned this before, but Brodak has the $9.99 shipping on internet orders. But if you call them the shipping is always lower. They told me that's the only way they could do the internet orders.

John Brodak is a premier advocate of control-line flying in Pennsylvania where he hosts any number of CL events. I've had some difficulties navigating John's web-site however especially concerning the specifications of the fuel tanks offered.
When I made this known to John he sent me, gratis, a hard-copy of his full catalog of mechandise that includes detailed info not found on his web-site. A gratious thing to do I'd say. (The catalog retails for $7.95 and is well worth it)

You are correct. You did mention that before, guess it slipped my mind. In this case though the order had to be made under the cover of darkness

They have email also. They are pretty easy to work with. I like thier magizine "Control line World",too. I really like the Jan.'13' issue with my family in it.

I like Brodak's covering film, but it's being discontinued. Now on sale- 2 rolls for the price of one.
