Hey Ian, yea... that is nice! I designed this gear for a 1/2A R/C trainer I'm building. The pic is from my personal album which has a few more pics of the model (under construction). There's a description explaining more in detail; how it's made.

Another neat bouncy undercarriage. My landings need all the help they can get!

Mind you, it is only the last few thousands of an inch where the damage occurs!
