This is the second one i've ever seen for sale, one came up several years ago. It may seem high, but its only about what 2 Strato Bugs are worth?

I'd guess it was cost, Cox was popping engines out like popcorn...very precision popcorn. This looks like a knock off of a Space Bug and about this time Cox had their Babe ready to roll with a cheaper to build, extruded case and McCoy probably just said "forgetaboutit!"
