I have one my son and I have doinked a time or two. They show up not infrequently on eBay.

Hey Bob,
Ya it's just like yours but with yellow wings, no doubt the victim of 1 to many crashes.

Re: White PT-19 Trainer?
You can't see it in that picture but the wing is held together by a combination of cut up plastic covers. The fuselage almost as bad and repaired the same way. I actually got it to fly but not for too long as I got dizzzzzzzy and had to dump it, we both hit the ground at about the same time.
We are both healed up now waiting for a second try

White PT-19s
I have one of the "flower power" versions and need a rudder for it to put it back together. Anybody got one they would part with? Can purchase or swap/trade other parts. I have been going through my collection and assembling what I have and I'm up to 13 or 14 PT-19s!!!! I would like to add the white one to the list. Wouldn't mind swapping out a typical version for a red/white early one either.
Thanks a lot,

Re: White PT-19 Trainer?
Dan,
If all else fails you could just paint one white. I doubt it will come to that though. I am sure some of those old salty dogs on Stunthangar or Stuka have old Cox stuff lurking in the house... Might be worth it to post a wanted ad over there.
You can't be the only one with a CL museum in the basement!

Yellow fuselages are a bit rare. I sold a nice one a couple of months ago.

This version was sold by Leisure Dynamics in Don Mills Ontario Canada back in the early 1980s.

crankbndr: no disrespect, but I saw this old post while perusing linedog’s comments on something, short term memory loss, so I decided to make my latest 2nd build of the “Coroplast”, (really posterboard I found out), PT-19 will the red on white. See the rare Coroplast PT-19 build for details.

Happydad:
I made a couple of these planes in the White color scheme:
How one would look flat packed for a trip:
Here are the planes ready to go:
I don't remember if I still have the scans I did of the red stickers. Let me look.

Re: White PT-19 Trainer?
Happydad, I just dug around through my old build files and found the scans I used of the red wing and fuselage decals to print my own. PM me your email address and I'll send you the three scans if you need them.

Re: White PT-19 Trainer?
They are coroplast. The electric one flies great.
The Medallion flew okay the only time I tried it, and I never got around to flying the Babe Bee one, but it should fly okay also. I took the Medallion one to a Delta park Spring tune-up to fly in the off-circle when things were quiet. For some reason, one guy grabbed it and said, "I gotta show this to Paul Walker!" Maybe Paul's next World's plane will be out of coroplast.
