Man, that takes me back a l o n g, l o n g way. Sorry to hear of his passing, the Ventures were a strong influence on a lot of rock bands.....the band that lauched a 1000 rock bands. I was at a friends house tonight and they played "Pipeline" on the radio. That is probably the only riff I can still play on guitar after all these years!

Never got as good as these guys, so I became a listener of music, rather than a player.
Never get tired of hearing it or watching other people play like Roddie, George and others who have the talent/gift.

I forgot how much I liked them...have had you-tube playing their stuff for over an hour now. Just let it go from one to the next as I clean the shop
