Cox foam stunt C/LRTF parts ??
Hi Folks,
I have a Cox foam ME-109, and a Chipmunk stunter,,
neither is pristine BUT,,
Both COULD be in flyable condition,
except that the front, lower plastic part of the fuselage is either damaged, or missing..
It appears that except for color they may be interchangeable,,
This piece holds the tank and engine mount, ,molded in,,
Does anyone have an extra one, [or two],
available,,
I would like to be able to fly these ships,,
Thanks,
Tom

Hey Tom, sorry I can't help with the parts but it's good to hear from you again from the old 049 Collectors days. They're a pretty friendly bunch here and you're sure to recognize quite a few.
Cheers.

Re: Cox foam stunt C/LRTF parts ??
Tom, the parts come up on eBay not too infrequently. That being said, I got tired of waiting to find the parts, and made my own out of balsa. Besides, it was a fun exercise. I also decided to use a TD or a Medallion. I’ll probably try both and see which I like better. I recently painted the lower pan black, but don’t have any pictures. From 10 feet away, it looks like a stock part. At the end of the lines, I won’t be able to tell the difference.
