Does anyone know if cox ever made a diecast 1965 gto gas car? I know about the plastic 1968 gto but wondering if they ever made a diecast 1965 gto gas? Thanks all

As far as I know the only die cast Cox cars were the ones that used Cameron .19 engines.

There are a few people on eBay that have been taking the 049 tether car chassis and mounting Die cast bodies on them. I had a 020 GTO I got some years back, hopefully you can find one of these cars. I know a guy with 4 or 5 Super 020 cars New in box but $2000 each is rediculas.
