'65 Corvette
Back on Jan 1, 2019 I mentioned trimming my 1965 white Corvette with chrome Bare Metal Foil approximately 25 years ago. For the last 25 years, the body of the Vette has been sitting in my display case without the chassis, engine etc. I was always going to finish re-assembling the model, yet those years slipped away.
Well, I decided to finish the model, yet for the life of me I couldn’t remember where I packed the chassis, engine etc away.
Anyway, finally found it and thought I’d post some pictures, for reference, of what the model looks like with Bare Metal foil on the inside (gear shift instrumental panel, seat belt locks) and outside. It can always be easily removed for the purists. Forgot I accented the tail lights, parking lights and steering wheel back then.

Another excellent job Doc. It adds so much to the appeal of the model.

I wouldn't remove anything for the "purists" unless they laid a pretty stout load of cabbage on that breakfast table of yours.

Wow, beautiful Vette, my favorite year. Those cars are just fantastic. Super job, reminds me of a Sears Christmas catalogue!
