Top Flite Duralume Silver Streak
I had forgotten about these Duralume ships until I saw one on Ebay. They made some of their conventional Jig Time rubber models and this gas model from aluminum covered balsa. I thought it would be a nice way to display one of my Pee Wees, so I bought and built it. Apologizes to kit collectors for having built it.

Never heard of those. Now I want to find some wide rolls of aluminum duct tape and Sig airfoiled balsa.

Those are MAX COOL models. Top Flite also made a couple of those for Pee Wee .020s.

Today this could be converted to RC with ease.
That might be a Pee Wee I zoomed in on the prop
it appears to read: 4 1/4 x 3
If that is a 5 1/4 x 3 no doubt a .049

Re: Top Flite Duralume Silver Streak
It is a Top Flite 4 1/2 x 3. It came in the kit. I don't remember seeing this prop separately. The Pee Wee is a "product" engine as used in the Pitts and others. It has the plain aluminum tank. The "hobby" engines in the blister pack had the red anodized tank.
I don't know if I'll fly this guy or not. I don't want to risk damaging the aluminum, it is way thinner than foil. It should be a good flyer. Light and lots of wing area and Top Flite models all fly well.
