Evenings have been beautiful here making my wish I had something  to fly right at home…. I had built a rubber power FF …Hanger Rat ….for a large gym where I work so I decided to convert it to rc …. Very happy how it worked out!!….Turns real tight and can stay in a small space…. Needs to by calm….. I can step out of the shop and go fly now….Keeps the rc fingers practiced up too!!

Awesome Jigger!!! cheers sunny I keep seeing all this really neat stuff on the forum and I havent even got enough time to crash it all let alone build stuff from all the ideas I get from stuff like this post. Love the wing design etc. looks almost as close to being a bird as could be. Thumbs Up sunny

Thta is great. What micro motor/gearbox are you using? I think I have one kicking around here from an old Champ or Cub along with the electronics, and I could never think of something nice and simple to build for it.

Thanks guys, This has been fun for calm evenings….

The motor/gear box came from http://www.microflierradio.com/

I’m sure the electronics and drives from some of the Hobby Zone park flyers would work fine for something like this….

If you decide to build one or have questions post it up here and I’ll help as I can….

Back to rebuilding engines now  Very Happy

Flying at Home.. what more could you ask for? That looks like a floater.. and probably a joy to fly.. I have no area large enough for fixed-wing modeling outside of 1/4A u-control.. and even that scale would be cramped. I'm not a "drone-guy" but I am continually amazed at the gear.. as well as seeing what accomplished RC pilots have done in FPV mode.
