Thanks George. She's a warm one today, packing our things to take the kids camping.
We got a tonne of hail yesterday, flattened our garden pretty bad. That's how she goes, crazy weather, had a Tornado alert too. Definitely seen some funnels progressing.
Happy Canada Day, hope your weather is behaving.

Happy Canada Day guys!

Wow. Glad you're okay. We've been in a bit of a drought lately. When its forecasted to rain, it doesn't, except for last Sunday at the car show... of course it had to rain then. We're supposed to see rain on the 4th of July here.

Hey layback209,
Looks like you had a 'Hail' of a Canada Day weekend !
Good here.
Very Nice 25min Fireworks show. Waterfront was packed with having fun people...
Almost total dead calm. (very, very slight drift, away from the crowds.)
The smoke was Interesting to me. (I wonder why?
)
The smoke trails from the huge 'Starburst' ones just stayed there, hovering... cool to see...
The total amount was way more than I thought.
I found it amusing that many around me were 'watching' through cell phones, videoing...
Saw at least 4 lighted 'drones' flying around, before them 'lighting the wick'...
Sunday, defrosted, braised a deer loin.
Bow hunted by my brother in law. (on opening day, east of Lake Huron.)
Last years, local sweet red peppers was the base of the 'broth'...
Highly recommended.
My niece and friend have dual-citizenship.
They celebrate both the 1st and 4th...
Happy 4th too...
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave

Re: Happy Canada Day to our friends up north!
Thanks all. We had a great Canada Day here....... We spent it down in North Dakota. For us we do not get a long weekend and both had to work today so we made the most of it with a mini vacation. However, we came back late Saturday to see a few fireworks.
