Made a weekend run up to the middle of Illinois for some fun flying with the SIRS club at their field southwest of Bloomington.
I was "traveling light", with no camper, and just three control line planes, and had a great time with this fun bunch of fliers at their field out in the middle of the pool-table-flat plains of Illinois.

Nice flight, Kim, sounds like a Tee Dee, but in any case, a COX?

The big Nobler, nice. Good you're flying over nice grass and not pavement or packed earth when inverted with dead engine, and a good job on the inverted landings, Kim.

Thanks George!
Yeah, it was a good thing I had nice thick grass to dump the Nobler, though I was still surprised that it didn't grab the planes fin and rip it loose!
