What has Mecoa got that you want, but can't get over there?
I didn't think they had anything Cox beyond some engine parts.

Mecoa
Hi Jim,
I discovered mecoa when I found this wonderfull place.
Only dens model supplies of southhampton near isle of white, UK , stocks Cox parts, mainly 049 stuff from Cox international.
He does not deal with mecoa.
Cox int and exmodelengines are great and will ( they have in the past )send stuff to me, but only if they have it in stock.
My sister and family are UK bound in April so I checked on mecoa about the four bits of plastic I need for a pair of td09's so she can order in USA and bring them with her.
Yesterday I saw in mecoa Cox spares, coming soon pt19 stuff, some available at present ( phone for details ) .
Good job mecoa, Cox cl planes and parts ! A ready market me thinks, a new pt19 and stuka, yes please.

I personally wouldn't put ANY faith in what Randy claims or says he's going to do or offer. He's a notorious liar.

Mecoa
I check mecoa from time to time for stuff.
Noticed this morning about pt19 stuff. I would have thought there was a ready market for pt19 ( and stuka and others ) spares, and complete planes minus engine ?
Of course cost is going to come into this, but if second hand parts supply has dried up ( or gone megs expensive ) , what are you to do ?
There is always the balsa/modern materials route but it's nice to have "an original" or an "original like " model....
Hope mecoa make new parts available, pt19 and stuka please.
Next problem would be getting them to the UK.

Re: Mecoa Cox pt19
Hey Rich, What we need; is someone with a large-format 3D scanner/printer... who would be willing to create a database of applicable Cox replacement parts-scans for testing prospective prints of those parts through a collaborative of like-minded modelers. It's not a dream.. This technology is in-use all around us currently.
Planes
Absolutely...
My states side brother in law works for a large company. They have "misplaced the" loads of engineering drawing of older machines coming back for reconditioning.
They have a scanner room the size of s largish house to scan the machines needing attention, computerise the results, "build up" worn sections in the computer to produce new drawings.
I believe they can metal spray etc.
A smaller set up for scanning say a pt19 fuz then 3d print one out.
Mammon rules I suppose.
