Re-manufactured Enya .06-II for Boats13
Finished up rebuilding Boats13 Enya .06-II today.
Before:
Missing the thrust washer behind the prop drive washer.
Piston assembly was stuck and not able to turn. (gummed up). Photo of underside of piston.
Disassembled the entire engine and sonic cleaned.
Made thrust washer and .005" (0.127mm) shim for housing wear because of original missing thrust washer.
Still had to remove .020" (.400mm) from back plate face to clear the crankshaft pin.
After stock removal from the back plate, I check for clearance from the crank pin to the back plate. (.020" or 0.400mm)
Thick enough for a width of a piece of paper to slip between the pin and back plate.
Now time to reassemble the rest of the engine.
I use "Turbo" oil for reassembly as there is no Parafin on the product to gum up later on.
Here is the completed engine:
With the Enya Wrench that can tighten/loosen the prop nut, glow plug, glow head, cylinder head.

Incredible!
Mike, thank you!
It doesn't even look like the same engine I bought off eBay!
Utterly amazing transformation.
