I called a local chemical supply place today and both nitromethane and ether seem pretty easily obtainable. They're not cheap though. I haven't had any knocks on the door or heard helicopters hovering over my house either.

Ya know it is nitromethane OR ether, not nitromethane AND ether. lol!

Did they have methanol and castor?

Be on the lookout for black SUV's with dark tinted windows...... Paranoid

The John Deere starting fluid is good for having a high percentage of ether in it. Just treat the heptane in it the same as kerosene in your formula.

How about that! Even easier to get than I thought. I was quoted over $100.00 for a liter so that's a lot cheaper.
